Avon Township, IL. (ECWd) –

From all appearances, Avon Township Supervisor Terry Wilke and his “slate” of candidates for the April 2021 election have opened up a website to push their campaign.

Terry Wilke, Joshua Cohen (click here and here for interesting stories on sexual harassment allegations in Vernon Twp Assessor’s office – #metoo), Jaycee Ochoa, Jatyon Collier, Robert Myers, and Anania Rodriguez are the candidates for township offices.

Their alleged campaign website points to a fake website, cybersquatting the name of Avon Township, which spews out hate-filled rants, conspiracy theories, false claims, and others.

The fake Avon Township website also points to another fake cybersquatting website filled with hate speech, more conspiracy theories, and more false claims – this other site is purportedly operated by an individual out of Florida who we caught lying under oath to the Lake County, Florida, Court.

If any Avon Township voters need to know what Supervisor Terry Wilke has been doing the past few years, we urge you to read these articles (CLICK HERE). We hope sooner than later, for Avon Township taxpayer’s sake, that criminal investigations will be completed and appropriate charges will be brought.

We also urge voters to properly research information published prior to forming opinions. Particularly, be wary of new cybersquatting websites popping up, pointing to other new cybersquatting websites for some sort of “verification” of truthfulness. One of the hallmarks of attempting to influence elections is propping up new websites such as the ones mentioned above. Why can’t they simply run on their platform without diving into the cesspool of false and negative campaigning?

We emailed Supervisor Wilke and Clerk Candidate Jaycee Ochoa for comment. They have not responded yet.
