The single most pressing issue facing Alsip, and this is what I intend to do about it.

I feel the most pressing issue facing the board is financial responsibilities and how to bring in more revenue to the Village. What I would like to do is to continue to bring in more businesses, as the current Mayor has been doing, and to revamp areas on Cicero Ave. bringing in new business into areas that are currently and have been vacant.

Do you support Black Lives Matter and what are your thoughts on the demonstrations held since the death of George Floyd and the shooting of Jacob Blake?

Do you think the current board has done enough to support racial equality, and if not, what specifically should be done to do so?

What are your thoughts on the national and local coronavirus response? Do you favor measures such as limiting operation of non-essential businesses and restricting indoor/outdoor dining? And do you favor a local mask mandate?

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

The most critical differences I believe are the amount of time that can be dedicated to the job and the background experience for the job. My current job is flexible and I can work hours from home, leaving me time during regular work hours to be at Village Hall working in the office. I have many years experience in secretarial/customer service based occupations and volunteering roles. My current job requires confidentiality and impeccable record keeping, two skills that are needed as the Village Clerk.

If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency).
