Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], August 11 (ANI): In a resolution on Tuesday, the Maharashtra state government decides to introduce an award named after former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi for outstanding companies in the state’s information technology (IT) sector. Announced that it was done.

The resolution states that these awards will be awarded for the best performance in the IT sector.

For the social and economic development of the country, the use of science and technology was central, and the late Rajiv Gandhi sought a result-oriented use of information technology and science and technology for the country. Therefore, the introduction of an award named after Rajiv Gandhi is complex, and the resolution further stated.

The decision was made at a meeting led by the leader and minister of the Maharashtra Government’s MoS (IT) Parliament on July 7, 2021 and the resolution was stated.
