Pool Bani: A Class X student in Phulbani in the Kandamal district of Orissa was instigated by the Liberia government for successfully tracking down a hacker who was making an illegal transaction in the name of the Liberia Treasury Department.

Soumyaranjan Sahu of Jagannath Sahi of Pool Bani is recognized as a very young age cybersecurity expert who has succeeded in catching hackers and preventing them from being stolen online.

He embarked on an ethical hacking journey during the first blockade. He took various courses, including forensic research and wanted to work for the Government of India.

During his study, he was offered some cases by his tutor. He gradually came across a fake Facebook page of the Liberia Treasury Department. Hackers have made many fraudulent transactions through this page.

After presenting the demonstration to the Liberia authorities, Soumyaranjan was offered a case. He was able to track the hacker’s digital footprint and IP address and collect evidence. After that, the hacker was captured.

The Liberia government not only awarded Soumyaranjan a certificate and a prize, but also provided him with a job.
