ALSIP, IL — The Village of Alsip has joined the growing list of communities offering their own mobile apps. The recently-launched “Village of Alsip” app offers all the information from, like a city calendar; volunteer and job opportunities; an online payment tool for vehicle stickers and water and garbage; a government meeting minutes and agendas; a directory of employees; report and service requests, and more.

Alsip Police Department also has an eponymous app, which is also available through the Village of Alsip app. The app features a crime map, a sex offender registry, videos, an opportunity to leave feedback about an officer interaction, a village directory, a frequently asked questions section, a list of local ordinance, and information on the village’s Smart 911 emergency alert system.

Both apps are downloadable in the Apple Store or on Google Play.
