Shelby Co. (ECWd) –

The Shelby County Board has called a special meeting for July 18, 2023, at 7 P.M. in Court Room A.

While we do not know what possible litigation is going to be part of a closes session, they do have on the agenda to approve a resolution for the Shelby County Dive Team.  This is the first step in properly setting up the Dive Team.

While some have claimed the Dive Team is insured because they have a county budget, we understand the three vehicles would not be covered at this time due to them not being registered in the name of Shelby County.  I understand that issue and others are all being properly addressed to ensure things are done right moving forward.
