Fitness enthusiast Ashok Singhal said this was a good decision by the government and he is very pleased that the gym will open in the coming months.

“We follow all the protocols. We didn’t have a gym and we were waiting for the gym to reopen to get fit. I’m very happy today,” Shinharu told ANI.

Another fitness enthusiast, Ferman Kahn, said he was excited to return to the gym.

“I feel good when I come to the gym. I want the gym to stay open so that I can stay fit and healthy,” Khan said.

Following a decline in new COVID-19 cases in the state, the Uttar Pradesh government has allowed reopening of cinemas, multiplexes, gyms and stadiums from Monday.

“A policy of aggressive follow-up, testing, rapid treatment and rapid vaccination has controlled COVID infections in Uttar Pradesh. Multiplexes, cinemas, gyms and sports complete / stadiums comply with the COVID protocol. The cinema hall operator’s business is affected by COVID.
